I predict that Madison will expand economically because people like to congregate in areas together. There are three main areas of expansion based on visual rise in population and businesses… Sun Prairie, Middleton, and Verona. Middleton is considered a nicer area of the state and the population is young; the value of houses there has gone up almost 100% over the last 10 years. This is a desirable area in which to live. The numbers show that people have moved to Verona– but most of them are older, wealthier people. Overall Sun Prairie will be the fastest growing area because it has the youngest population and the fastest growth, and this should continue considering this area is close to major highways and has good area to be expanded into.
