The link above is a long but great read about the shifting educational environment. I predict that enrollment in internet based courses will increase about 20% each year, while the enrollment for traditional face-to-face courses will remain at a 1.5% growth rate.
This change has caused a development in internet based learning and teaching technology, a pattern which will continue for at least the next 5 years.
