American Workers Need To Toughen Up
Why an MBA Is a Waste of Time
I am predicting that there is a generation in the work force that is going to be stuck for a good portion of their lives with a job they dislike. The generation is currently contained in an age range of 20-26.
- Not enough jobs has led to people getting over education because they have few other options. When these smart people graduate they will be hard to hire because of their increased pay needed to pay off their student loans.
- Jobs are available but in fields that are uninteresting to most, and people would rather stay on unemployment than take an entry level position at times.
- As a nation we lack the resilience and patriotism (that we once had) it takes to work hard and perform for ones family and country. It is becoming more important to this generation culturally to have friends and create experiences with those friends.
